The global film industry is one of the most public industries in the world. It lives in the limelight, yet it is also one of the least diverse industries. We at Spotlighted want to grow the diversity of not only stories and characters, but the people behind them.

According to UCLA's 2024 Hollywood Diversity Report "Only 2.3 out of 10 theatrical film directors are people of color" and "Only 1.5 out of 10 theatrical film directors are women."

Although there is still much to be done to progress the industry, Spotlighted hopes to provide audiences with the resources to make change happen.
